
State Bank of India Clarifies Details of Tier 2 Bond Allotment
State Bank of India announced a correction to previously released information regarding the allotment of Tier 2 bonds. The update, referencing a disclosure dated March 20, 2026, specifies that 6,051 Non-convertible, Taxable, Redeemable, Unsecured, Fully Paid-up Basel III compliant Tier 2 Bonds in the nature of debentures were allotted, with a face value of ₹ 1 crore each and a coupon of 7.05%. This corrects a previous figure that indicated 1,00,00,000 bonds were allotted.The correction was communicated to the BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited. SBI’s BSE SCRIP Code is 500112 and its NSE SCRIP Code is SBIN.
