State Bank of India Clarifies Bond Allotment Details​

State Bank of India (SBIN) has issued a correction to a previous disclosure regarding the allotment of bonds. The update, referencing a disclosure dated March 20, 2026, clarifies the number of bonds issued.

According to the latest information, SBIN allotted 6,051 Non-convertible, Taxable, Redeemable, Unsecured, Fully Paid-up Basel III compliant Tier 2 Bonds in the nature of debentures, each with a face value of ₹ 1 crore. This corrects a previous statement that indicated a significantly larger number of bonds. The bonds carry a coupon rate of 7.05%.

The correction was communicated to the BSE Limited (SCRIP Code: 500112) and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (SCRIP Code: SBIN).
