Performance Films & Foil Business
This segment achieved a record quarterly performance, driven by packed production in Films and Foil. Revenue increased by 42%, reaching ₹ 2,017 crore (up from ₹ 1,418 crore in CPLY), while the operating profit saw a dramatic rise of 149% from ₹ 140 crore to ₹ 350 crore. The business reinforced its industry leadership through continued focus on sustainable solutions and Value-Added Products (VAPs).
Technical Textiles Business
The Technical Textiles segment showed steady momentum, with revenue rising by 28%, going from ₹ 467 crore to ₹ 597 crore in Q1FY27. The operating profit of the business increased sharply by 186%, growing from ₹ 38 crore to ₹ 108 crore over CPLY. Corporate Investments and Innovation
The Board approved significant capital expenditure initiatives aimed at future growth:- Performance Films & Foil: A total investment of ₹250 crore was approved to establish a BOPET Thick Film Line in India, which will utilize Brucknermade production line and Kampf primary slitter equipment.
- Chemicals Business: The company is undertaking several smaller capital expenditure projects within the Specialty Chemicals Business. These investments are focused on debottlenecking initiatives to enhance capacity and operational efficiencies, particularly within the Agrochemicals portfolio.
On the matter of innovation, as of June 30, 2026, SRF has applied for a total of five hundred and twenty-eight patents. Globally, one hundred and fifty-nine of these patents have been granted.
