Subject to regulatory approvals, the plan is to commence mine development activities, aiming for coal production by the financial year 2028-2029.
The Phase-I CAPEX for this project is estimated at INR 200 crores and will be funded through a combination of internal accruals, bank debt, and off-take agreements from local domestic buyers. The company holds a revenue-sharing agreement with the government requiring them to share 24.25% of the revenue.

Oman International Operations:

  • One services JV, involving mining and drilling services for Omani companies, has been running since two years ago.
  • A second JV focuses on mining services and exploration of a block spanning over 1,400 square kilometers. The airborne survey for this block is complete, and ground geophysics is next in the sequence.
For the first service venture, which involves a USD 125 million, 10-year contract, the company reported a profit share ranging from INR 3.5 crores to INR 4 crores in the last quarter.
