His leadership has encompassed driving strategy, delivery, and go-to-market initiatives across product engineering, enterprise systems deployment, and large-scale digital transformation programs. Furthermore, Raj has been instrumental in advancing Sonata Software's shift toward an AI-first organization, leading efforts in the Responsible-first AI approach and the development of Sonata Harmoni.AI, while also playing a key role in improving operational margins through focused execution and technology-led efficiencies.

Prior to becoming Chief Executive Officer, Roy served as Chief Delivery Officer and was a core member of Sonata Software’s executive leadership team, where he was responsible for global delivery, operations, and the company's transformation into an AI-first delivery organization.

Executive Changes and Continuity​

The Board of Directors of Sonata Software also announced that Samir Dhir will cease to hold office as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer upon the expiry of his term on May 8, 2026. Consequently, he has resigned from his position as Executive Director, effective close of business on the same date. To ensure a smooth transition and maintain operational continuity, Samir Dhir will continue serving as an Advisor to the Board of Directors of Sonata Software until December 31, 2026.
