Sona BLW Precision Forgings Reports Manufacturing Milestones: 500 Million Differential Gears and 10 Million Differential Assemblies

Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd. announced the achievement of two significant production milestones, stating that it has successfully manufactured 500 million differential gears and 10 million differential assemblies since its inception. • 2013: Crossed the 100 million gears production milestone.
• Early 2018: Reached the 200 million gears milestone.
• The subsequent 100 million gears were manufactured over three years.
• The 400 million milestone was achieved within a further two and a half years.
• The most recent 100 million gears were produced within the last two years, leading to the total of 500 million differential gears.

For differential assemblies, manufacturing commenced at the Gurugram plant in 2008, with production subsequently expanding to Pune in 2014. Production at a new state-of-the-art plant in Manesar began in 2019. The company achieved its one-millionth differential assembly in 2017 and reached 5 million assemblies by 2023. The subsequent 5 million differential assemblies were produced in less than three years.
