
Sharika Enterprises Bags Smart Grid Order from L&T for Varanasi Project
Noida, March 24, 2026 – Sharika Enterprises Ltd has secured a significant order from Larsen & Toubro Limited for the supply of communicable Overhead Fault Passage Indicators (FPIs) for a Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) project in Varanasi. The order is for 998 Nos. of Communicable FPIs, ultimately serving Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (PVVNL).The project aims to bolster network reliability and automation within PVVNL’s distribution network. Sharika Enterprises will supply advanced communicable FPIs, designed to enable real-time fault detection, faster fault localization, and improved restoration times. These systems are expected to enhance network visibility, operational efficiency, and reliability.
This project reinforces Sharika Enterprises' capabilities in delivering advanced monitoring and automation products and solutions for utilities. The FPI solution is a 'Make in India' product, promoting indigenous manufacturing and technological self-reliance while serving as an import substitute.
