Shakti Pumps Secures ₹654 Crore Solar Pump Order in Karnataka Under PM-KUSUM

Indore, January 12, 2026: Shakti Pumps (India) Limited (BSE: 531431 | NSE: SHAKTIPUMP) has received its first Letter of Award from Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited for the supply of 16,780 standalone off-grid DC solar photovoltaic water pumping systems across the state of Karnataka.

The order, awarded under Component-B of the PM-KUSUM programme, carries a total value of approximately ₹654.03 crore, inclusive of GST. The scope of work encompasses design, manufacturing, supply, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar pumping systems for statewide deployment.

Order Scope and Execution Timeline​

The contract mandates end-to-end execution, from manufacturing through commissioning, with completion scheduled on or before March 31, 2026. The project is intended to expand access to reliable, off-grid solar-powered irrigation solutions across Karnataka, supporting energy-efficient agriculture and rural water management.
