Risk and Accounting Enhancements

The financial results reflect several key accounting adjustments related to risk assessment and regulatory changes. The company reviewed its Expected Credit Loss (ECL) model, resulting in a revised methodology for calculating Loss Given Default (LGD), Credit Conversion Factor (CCF), and ECL Discounting. This review led to an estimated increase in overall impairment provision of ₹180 Crores. In addition to the standard provision, the company maintained an extra impairment provision amounting to ₹70 Crores due to the continuing uncertain geo-political situation.

The company also recognized the financial implications of the newly notified New Labour Codes in 2026, assessing that changes to employee benefit plans require the recognition of past service costs. This recognition resulted in an estimated increase in provision for employee benefits amounting to ₹27 Crores under Employee Benefit expenses.
