CIRP Status and Operational Updates

The company remains under Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) as established by an NCLT order dated May 29, 2020. The process was initiated after a creditor filed a petition against the company in accordance with Section 9 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.

The Committee of Creditors (CoC) previously reviewed resolution plans submitted by potential Resolution Applicants (PRAs). However, none of the Resolution Plans were approved by the members of the CoC. Consequently, the CoC decided to liquidate the company, and the initiation of this liquidation process has been filed with the NCLT.

During the review of the financial statements, noted points included that all expenses have been treated on a Cash Basis in the books of accounts, which is against the company's policy. Furthermore, bank balances are subject to confirmation from management; only two banks' accounts had transactions during the past period, and those balances were carried forward.
