Growth and Market Leadership in Diabetes Care

The Insulin portfolio continued its robust trajectory, recording double-digit growth of 14% for the second consecutive quarter. This performance reinforces Sanofi's leadership position in the basal analog market, where it holds a 58% value share and 61% volume share. The growth was significantly driven by Lantus®, Toujeo®, and Apidra®, along with the successful performance of Soliqua®, which is a premium offering in the premix diabetes space.

Furthermore, the public sector business saw an acceleration rate of 70%. This expansion was supported by opening new accounts for Toujeo® and Soliqua® under the CARE Accounts initiative, strengthening Sanofi's presence in the diabetes injectable segment. Strategic partnerships established across Cardiovascular, Oral anti-Diabetes, and Central Nervous System segments continue to build a strong foundation, with partnership revenues showing a 2% growth in Q2 2026.

Management Perspective

Deepak Arora, Managing Director of Sanofi India, highlighted that Q2 2026 represents purposeful and profitable growth for the company, driven by its diabetes portfolio performance and a 19% increase in PBT. He noted that their acceleration in the public sector demonstrates not just expansion, but broadening access to innovative therapies across the country. Arora stated that with a 57.3% value share in the diabetes injectable segment and a modernized go-to-market model, the foundation for sustainable, long-term value creation is firm.
