Samvardhana Motherson International Limited Forms Joint Venture with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics
Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SAMIL) announced on March 19, 2026, that its Board of Directors approved a Joint Venture Agreement with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics (MESA) Holding Limited, a Dubai-based company. The strategic partnership aims to provide world-class supply chain solutions to the automotive industry.The collaboration will enable SAMIL’s Logistics Solution Division to offer integrated third-party and fourth-party logistics services globally, excluding Japan, with a focus on enhancing resilience, efficiency, and stability of supply chains. A new joint venture company will be incorporated in Dubai, UAE to facilitate the strategic relationship.
Hellmann Worldwide Logistics SE & Co. KG., the parent company of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics (MESA) Holding Limited, is a Germany-based global freight forwarder with a turnover of EUR 3.8 billion. The joint venture company will have a shareholding structure of 51% for SAMIL and 49% for Hellmann.
The Board of Directors of SAMIL met on March 19, 2026, commencing at 4:30 PM IST and concluding at 5:25 PM IST. The transaction does not constitute a related party transaction.
