Samvardhana Motherson completes acquisition of Vacuform, making it indirect subsidiary​

Samvardhana Motherson International Limited has completed the acquisition of Vacuform 2000 Proprietary Limited, with the entity now becoming an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of the company.

The completion was executed on August 3, 2026, by MSSL Global RSA Module Engineering Limited (MSSL RSA), a 100% step down subsidiary of Samvardhana Motherson International Limited. The acquisition involved purchasing 49% of the equity share capital of Vacuform from its initial promoters.

The transaction concludes the process first reported via disclosures on April 27, 2026, and June 30, 2026, regarding the acquisition through MSSL RSA.

Following the completion of all conditions precedent, Vacuform now stands as an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Samvardhana Motherson International Limited.

MOTHERSON Stock Price Movement​

Samvardhana Motherson International Limited gained strongly on Monday as shares closed at ₹155.01, pushing up 2.83%. The stock’s performance saw it hit its yearly high and traded a volume of 17.77 million shares.
