RMC Switchgears Secures New Orders Aggregating ₹344.10 Crore, Bolstering Order Book
RMC Switchgears Limited has reported significant traction in order inflows, receiving new mandates that aggregate to ₹344.10 crore. This intake is anchored by a substantial set of Letters of Acceptance (LOAs) worth ₹333.80 crore from Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL).The PGVCL contracts are for turnkey projects and cover the complete scope of work, including site survey, design, engineering, procurement, supply chain management, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning. This mandate specifically entails converting existing 11 kV HT line and LT line networks into an underground cable network featuring a Ring Main System, alongside GIS Mapping / Geo Urja Mapping (developed by GUVNL) and asset tagging under the SI Scheme.

These PGVCL projects are scheduled for execution over a period ranging from 12 to 18 months, following a 45-day commencement period for all contractual purposes.
In addition to the major mandate from PGVCL, RMC secured orders from other domestic entities. The company received an order worth ₹5.02 crore from Genus Power Infrastructures Limited for UND S_Panel mounting structures (1.1 KW). Furthermore, Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited awarded an order for ₹2.84 crore related to 100 Amp. L.T. Distribution Kiosks suitable for underground cabling, while Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited provided a Letter of Intent worth ₹2.44 crore for the supply of LT Distribution Boxes.
The Genus Power and Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam orders are set for execution over six months each, with the Telangana order scheduled over 12 months from commencement. With these recent awards, RMC Switchgears Limited's unexecuted order book now stands at approximately ₹1188 crore.

He noted that the PGVCL mandate is a comprehensive turnkey engagement utilizing their full range of capabilities—from survey and design through to installation and commissioning. Agrawal also mentioned that the awards for distribution kiosks and distribution boxes indicate steady demand across RMC's product portfolio.
