Reliance Power Limited has published its comprehensive Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) for the Financial Year 2025-26, providing detailed insights into its environmental, social, and governance performance across its consolidated operations. Operational Details and Governance Structure​

Reliance Power Limited operates in electric power generation and captive coal mining, accounting for 100% of its turnover. The company serves the Power Distribution Companies as customers. As at the end of the financial year, the entity has a total of 5 plants and 10 offices nationally, with an additional 5 international offices.

The company’s paid-up capital stands at H 4,135.77 Crore. Corporate governance is overseen by the Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability Committee of the Board of Directors. In terms of waste management, the total waste generated stood at 10,67,41,114.61 metric tonnes for FY 2025-26, compared to 10,36,71,661.37 metric tonnes in FY 2024-25. The company reported that 56,09,866 metric tonnes of waste were re-used in FY 2025-26. For the same period, 9,99,33,549 metric tonnes of waste was landfilled.

Total energy consumed by the entity was recorded as 36,15,73,348 in FY 2025-26 and 67,06,61,866 in FY 2024-25.
