Bengaluru, India, July 29, 2026: Quess Corp, a global leader in staffing and workforce solutions, announced robust financial results for the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2027 (Q1 FY27). The company reported significant growth across key metrics, highlighting its market resilience and strategic pivot toward skill-based initiatives.

The quarterly highlights show that Quess achieved revenue of ₹4,182 crore, marking a 15% year-over-year (YoY) increase. EBITDA rose by 21% YoY to ₹85 crore. Notably, Profit After Tax (PAT) soared by 61% compared to the previous year, reaching ₹82 crore, while Earnings Per Share (EPS) grew by 61% to ₹5.5 per share.

In addition to its financial success, the company received recognition from GPTW for maintaining a positive workplace culture in staffing and recruitment, and it has launched a new Indo-Japanese corridor focused on skilled mobility within GCCs.

Strategic Pivot and Operational Growth Drivers​

Commenting on the results, ED & Group CEO Mr. Lohit Bhatia stated that the company achieved a strong start to the financial year. "We are pleased to report a strong start to the financial year, with revenue growing by 15% YoY to ₹4,182 crore and EBITDA rising by 21% YoY to ₹85 crore," he said. He added that PAT and EPS grew by over 61%, reaching ₹82 crore and ₹5.5, respectively.

Mr. Bhatia noted that performance was driven across multiple segments. Professional Staffing delivered 12% YoY EBITDA growth with margins around 11%, supported by sustained GCC hiring. General Staffing saw growth led by Retail, Telecom, and Manufacturing, adding 86 new logos and contributing to a solid start for Q2.

The Overseas Business proved highly resilient, reporting 17% YoY growth in both revenue and EBITDA. Key contributors to this success include the Middle East region, which delivered 12% EBITDA margins along with 26% revenue and 18% EBITDA growth YOY. Singapore added 17 new contracts, while Malaysia achieved a 56% YoY revenue growth and the Philippines recorded 17% YoY revenue growth.

Focus on Margin-Accretive Initiatives​

Beyond immediate performance, Mr. Bhatia emphasized a crucial structural shift for Quess Corp. "While volume and headcount will remain central to Quess, we are consciously pivoting all new projects and endeavours towards skill based, marginaccretive initiatives," he explained.

This strategic direction includes strengthening the Construction business and leveraging AI-led transformation to boost sourcing productivity. In the GCC space, the company is evaluating various partnerships across overseas markets. The initial move in this area involves a signed corridor targeting Japanese enterprises. These concerted moves reflect the broader strategy of building a global, skill intensive, higher margin portfolio for the future.

Segmental Performance Breakdown​

Quess Corp’s segment details underscore operational strengths:

General Staffing:
  • Generated revenue at ₹3,596 crore and EBITDA at ₹51 crore.
  • Maintained 469k headcount, with an addition of over 3.8k.
  • Successfully added 86 new contracts during the quarter.

Professional Staffing:
  • Achieved a 12% YoY growth in EBITDA, maintaining double digit margins around 11%.
  • GCC represented 71% of headcount and 68% of revenue within this segment.
  • The company added 36 contracts during the quarter.

As part of its Quess 2.0 vision, the company plans to continue concentrating on the high-margin GCC vertical, while simultaneously investing in AI led process transformation. The firm will also pursue skilled migration and credentialised talent export across five identified segments using partner led, capital light models.

Quess Corp Limited shares closed today, rallying 1.40% on market strength to settle at ₹307.40. The stock saw a strong trading session, hitting a daily high of ₹309.70 and coming close to its yearly peak of ₹310.45.
