Shri Sukhdev Singh, aged 62, had initially been appointed as an Independent Director on the Board in November 2025. He is a 1987-batch officer of the Indian Administrative Service (Retd.).His educational background includes a B.E. (Mechanical) degree from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, which he obtained in 1986. Shri Singh superannuated in 2024 after a career spanning nearly 37 years, during which time he held several senior administrative positions. Notably, he served as the Chief Secretary of Jharkhand for a period spanning quarter to four years. Throughout his extensive career, he occupied various key roles, including SDM, District Magistrate, Secretary, Principal Secretary, and Additional Chief Secretary across departments such as Home, Tribal Welfare, Social Welfare, Housing, and Health & Family Welfare.
