The lawsuit had been initiated by Prime Focus Limited and promoter Mr. Namit Malhotra against Reliance Alpha Services Private Limited, Reliance Mediaworks Limited, and Reliance Land Private Limited. The legal action concerned a loan agreement dated February 25, 2019, and a business transfer agreement that was executed on November 19, 2014.
The matter proceeded before the Hon'ble Bombay High Court, which heard the case on August 4, 2026. The court was apprised of the amicable resolution reached between all parties involved in the dispute. Consequently, the High Court permitted the Plaintiffs to withdraw the suit, dismissing the commercial matter as withdrawn.
