Premier Energies Inaugurates Next-Generation Solar Module Facility, Reaches 11.1 GW Capacity​

Premier Energies Limited has inaugurated its new solar module manufacturing facility in Seetharampur, Rangareddy, Telangana, substantially boosting its market reach and strengthening its position as an integrated solar manufacturer. The company also performed groundbreaking ceremonies for two major expansion projects: a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) facility and an aluminium frames facility.

The new 5.6 GW solar module manufacturing unit at the Seetharampur campus is a key addition to Premier Energies' production capacity. This state of the art plant includes advanced G12R TOPCon module manufacturing lines, designated as India’s first Zero Bus Bar manufacturing unit. The facility also incorporates AGV-enabled material movement and AI powered quality inspection systems, enabling the automated production line to produce one solar module every four seconds while maintaining precision and consistency at scale.

The Seetharampur campus spans 75 acres and serves as a significant expansion point for Premier Energies' business. With the commissioning of the new plant, the company's overall module manufacturing capacity has reached 11.1 GW, enhancing its ability to serve domestic and international markets.

Marking an expansion into allied clean energy segments, the company also commenced work on two critical future projects: a 6 GWh BESS facility and an 18,000 metric tonnes per annum aluminium frames facility. These initiatives are set to strengthen the company's supply chain and support India’s goal of building a self reliant clean-energy ecosystem.

Executives emphasized that the Seetharampur facility represents a significant strategic milestone for the company.

Speaking on the inauguration, Chairman Premier Energies stated that the event reflects the company's commitment to technology, manufacturing excellence and India's clean energy future. Director Sudhir Reddy added that the campus is an important step in the strategy to build a more integrated, technology led clean energy manufacturing platform, strengthening the ability to serve evolving customer requirements and support India’s transition towards a self reliant clean energy future.

Once fully operational, the Seetharampur facility is expected to create over 3000 jobs, thereby empowering local communities and supporting a diverse workforce. Premier Energies Limited remains committed to technology innovation and sustainable manufacturing as it expands across the entire clean energy value chain.
