Mr. Bharat Oberoi, Chairman and Managing Director, commented on the results, stating that while the company achieved strong growth metrics—26.7% in revenue and 27.3% in PAT—the execution in the MSLG business faced temporary logistical challenges related to transporting and installing large engine sets. He noted that margin improvement in the Wind Power business was attributed to seasonality and the addition of 51.3 MW capacity in February 2026.

Strategic Developments and Order Book Status

In terms of recent strategic developments, Powerica secured several major projects and agreements:

  • Wind Projects Secured: The company executed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for a 10 MW Wind Project from GUVNL's Wind Power in Gujarat at a tariff of Rs. 3.435 per kWh over 25 years. Furthermore, the company secured a 100 MW Wind Project bid from SECI's Wind Power Tender, with the discovered tariff being INR 3.85 per unit, and has received the Letter of Award (LOA).
  • Project Bidding: A 50 MW Wind Project bid was secured from GUVNL's Wind Power Tender; the discovered tariff for this project was INR 3.51 per unit, with LOA still awaited.
  • Turbine Agreement: Powerica signed an agreement with GE Vernova to supply 28 units of its 3.8 MW -154m onshore wind turbines for the company's 100 MW Botad Wind Farm project in Gujarat. This project marks the first deployment of GE Vernova’s 3.8 MW turbine platform in India and is Powerica’s fourth consecutive project with GE Vernova in Gujarat.
  • Corporate Approvals: The company received approval from its board for an investment of INR 3 Crore in Fuji-Kailash Energy Private Limited (FKEPL), which represents up to 49% of the equity share capital. Additionally, approvals were received for incorporating two wholly-owned subsidiaries: 'Windfusion Renewable Private Limited' and 'Whisperwind Renewable Private Limited,' both focused on renewable power project development and construction.

As of July 31, 2026, the order book for DG Sets powered by Cummins stood at approximately INR 1,700 crores, with the data centre-related order book within this segment valued at close to INR 900 crores.

Looking ahead, Mr. Oberoi stated that while commodity price inflation continues to exert pressure on margins in the near term due to the lag in passing on input costs, the long-term growth outlook remains intact. With its existing portfolio of 330.85 MW and planned expansion, Powerica maintains clear visibility to take its IPP Portfolio to 638.35 MW.
