Power Finance Corporation Launches $300 Million USD Notes Under Global Medium Term Note Programme​

Power Finance Corporation Ltd (PFC) has initiated the issuance of U.S. dollar-denominated notes, amounting to $300,000,000. This issuance falls under PFC's larger U.S. $8,000,000,000 Global Medium Term Note Programme.

The Notes were priced on June 22, 2026. They carry a coupon rate of 5.32% per annum and are scheduled to mature on June 30, 2031, unless redeemed earlier according to the terms of the notes. The settlement date for these notes is anticipated to be June 30, 2026.

Principal and interest payments related to the Notes will be made in U.S. Dollars. The interest payments are set to occur semi-annually on November 30th and June 30th.

The Notes represent direct, unconditional, and unsecured obligations of PFC. They are structured to rank pari passu with all other unsecured obligations of the Issuer and among themselves. For market visibility, the notes will be listed on NSE IFSC and India INX.

Regarding the utilization of funds, the net proceeds generated from the issuance of these Notes will be allocated in compliance with the external commercial borrowing guidelines set forth by the Reserve Bank of India.

Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC) closed today by shedding 2.14% in post-market trading, settling at ₹430.90 after a sharp decline of ₹9.45 from the previous close. The stock saw considerable activity with 6.12 million shares traded as it moved through its day's range.
