The company had previously suspended operations at its facility situated at Plot Nos. 18 and 19 PHARMEZ - Pharmaceutical Special Economic Zone, Village Matoda, Sarkhej Bawla, NH 8A, Taluka Sanand, Ahmedabad.
As of August 3, 2026, the company confirmed that operations have resumed across almost all sections of the facility. Limited restoration and recommissioning activities are currently ongoing in certain specific areas of the plant.
Piramal Pharma Limited stated that it has completed a preliminary assessment regarding the impact on its assets and operations. The company has initiated the necessary insurance claim process for the affected site. Based on the assessment conducted to date, Piramal Pharma does not anticipate any material impact on its financial performance or overall operations.
