Piramal Finance Limited announced on March 26, 2026, that it received an order allowing a tax loss of Rs. 10,110 crore in relation to the return of income filed for fiscal year 2023-24 (assessment year 2024-25). The order follows scrutiny under Computer-Assisted Scrutiny Selection for the assessment year 2024-25.With this order, the cumulative assessed tax losses for the company now stand at approximately Rs. 24,600 crore. The company made this announcement as a matter of caution.
