Bengaluru: Pace Digitek Limited has announced a significant milestone achieved by its subsidiary, Lineage Power Private Limited (LPPL), which has completed one year of commercial Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing at its Bidadi facility. This achievement solidifies the company's growing presence in India's energy storage sector.

During this commemorative first year, LPPL successfully manufactured over 260 utility-scale BESS containers. This production output translates to an integrated BESS capacity exceeding 1.25 GWh, marking it as one of the largest utility-scale Cell to BESS manufacturing achievements by an Indian company in a single year.

The success is attributed to Pace Digitek's efforts in establishing a robust manufacturing ecosystem focused on operational efficiency and quality execution. The facility operates as a unified platform, integrating various core functions including engineering, battery system assembly, container fabrication, Power Conversion Systems (PCS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and EPC capabilities under a single operating model.

The experience gained from supporting multiple utility-scale BESS deployments has enhanced the Company's end-to-end capabilities across engineering, manufacturing, commissioning, and lifecycle services. As India accelerates the deployment of renewable energy and grid-scale storage infrastructure, Battery Energy Storage Systems are poised to play an increasingly critical role in improving grid reliability and supporting the nation’s energy transition.

Mr. Venugopal Rao Maddisetty, Chairman and Managing Director of Pace Digitek Limited, commented on the development, stating that completing one year of BESS manufacturing and surpassing the 260 utility-scale BESS container mark is a vital achievement for the organization.
