Orient Paper & Industries Reconstitutes Committees Following Appointment of New Independent Director
Orient Paper & Industries Limited has approved key appointments that led to the reconstitution of several of its Board committees, effective August 8, 2026. The company appointed Ms. Anuradha Mookerjee as an Additional Independent Director and inducted her onto various committees, among them the Audit Committee, Stakeholders' Relationship Committee, Risk Management Committee, and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee.The board approval followed the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
Simultaneously, Mrs. Gauri Rasgotra will cease to be an Independent Director upon completing her second consecutive term of office, with this change effective August 21, 2026. As a result of her departure, she will also step down as a member of the Audit Committee, Stakeholders' Relationship Committee, Risk Management Committee, and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee on that date.
