NTPC Green Energy Announces Commercial Operation of Bhadla Solar Project Capacity​

NTPC Green Energy Limited, a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, announced the commencement of commercial operation for a portion of its Bhadla Solar PV Project. The third and final part of the project, representing a capacity of 75 MW, began operations on March 25, 2026, according to a certificate received from Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RREC).

The Bhadla Solar PV Project, located in Phalodi, Rajasthan, was developed by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited. The total capacity of the project is 500 MW.

As a result of this development, the current commercial capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited Group now stands at 9727.68 MW. The total installed capacity of the group will increase to 9,802.68 MW with the addition of the new capacity.
