This commercial operation status was declared effective from 00:00 hours on May 8, 2026.
The project, designated as Subansiri Lower HE Project (8x250 MW) with a total capacity of 2000 MW, now has four units declared commercially operational. These units include Unit #1, Unit #2, Unit #3, and Unit #4, with each unit generating 250 MW.
The company stated that the Commercial Operation status for the remaining units of the Subansiri Lower HE Project will be communicated in due course.
