
Nazara Reports Q1FY27 Revenue of INR 429 Crore; Accelerates Bluetile and BestPlay Acquisition and Appoints New CEO
Mumbai: Nazara Technologies Limited today announced its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company reported consolidated revenue of INR 429 crore and EBITDA of INR 46 crore. Nazara’s consolidated revenue saw a decline of 14% year over year (YoY) following the deconsolidation of NODWIN Gaming from August 2025. However, excluding NODWIN, comparable consolidated revenue grew approximately 9% YoY. The company noted that all gaming businesses remained EBITDA-positive during the quarter. Fusebox revenue increased 12% YoY to INR 82 crore, while Kiddopia revenue grew 19% YoY to INR 54 crore. Animal Jam revenue rose by 11% YoY to INR 29 crore.
Reported loss after tax from continuing operations was INR 82 crore, which included INR 62 crore of share of losses from associates and INR 22 crore of impairment loss.
Bluetile and BestPlay Acquisition Details
Nazara has amended the previously announced transaction structure to acquire 100% of Bluetile and BestPlay for a fixed all-cash consideration of USD 303 million. The transaction is expected to close shortly, subject to the completion of agreed closing requirements.Under the revised structure, USD 89 million is payable at closing, with the remaining USD 214 million scheduled to be paid in agreed tranches by April 1, 2027.
Bluetile and BestPlay reported INR 518 crore of revenue and INR 55 crore of EBITDA in Q1FY27. Subject to closing, these businesses are anticipated to be consolidated into Nazara's financial results starting from Q2FY27. The transaction was evaluated under the supervision of Nazara’s Investment Committee and approved by the Board.

Nazara appointed Raymond A. Stauffer, Founder & CEO of Bluetile Games, as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nazara Technologies Limited, effective September 1, 2026, subject to relevant regulatory approvals. Mr. Stauffer possesses deep experience in AI-enabled game development, product operations, user acquisition, monetisation, and capital-efficient global growth.
