
NAVA LIMITED Resumes Operations of Ferro Alloys Plant Furnaces After Maintenance Completion
NAVA LIMITED has announced the resumption of operations for both Furnaces at its Ferro Alloys Plant (FAP) located at the Odisha Works, effective from August 1, 2026. This operational change follows the successful completion of planned critical maintenance activities on the furnaces.The company previously undertook a temporary shutdown of the two FAP Furnaces in preparation for scheduled proactive maintenance. With these critical activities now successfully completed, Nava Limited is set to resume full operation of both units starting August 1, 2026, utilizing captive power.
During the period when the furnaces were shut down, the company maintained operations at its dedicated Captive Power Plant (CPP) at the Odisha Works. The CPP, which has a capacity of 30 MW, remained fully operational and continued to pursue merchant sales of power, thereby sustaining contributions despite the outage of the ferro alloy furnaces.
