Monte Carlo Fashions Limited Announces Key Leadership Reappointments and Up to ₹30 Crore Investment in Renewable Energy Subsidiary​

Monte Carlo Fashions Limited (MCFL) held its Board of Directors meeting on August 5, 2026, during which it approved the un-audited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The board also finalized several significant appointments and sanctioned an investment in its wholly-owned subsidiary dedicated to solar energy projects.

Key Personnel Appointments​

During the meeting, the Board approved the re-appointment of several senior executives and independent directors for extended terms:

  • Sh. Jawahar Lal Oswal: Was re-appointed as Chairman and Managing Director for a further five years, effective from August 10, 2026. Sh. Oswal, who is one of the Promoters and holds 1,05,059 equity shares, is noted as an industry veteran with over five decades of experience in the textile and apparel industry.
  • Smt. Ruchika Oswal: Was re-appointed as Executive Director for five years, effective from August 10, 2026. Smt. Oswal, a Promoter holding 5,15,838 equity shares, brings over 25 years of experience in garment manufacturing and designing to the company.
  • Smt. Monica Oswal: Was re-appointed as Executive Director for five years, effective from August 10, 2026. Smt. Oswal, who is also a Promoter with 5,15,837 equity shares, has expertise in retail operations, branding, and advertisement.
  • Independent Directors: The company also approved the re-appointment of Sh. Manikant Prasad Singh as a Non-Executive Independent Director for five years, effective from February 1, 2027. Additionally, Sh. Parvinder Singh Pruthi was re-appointed as a Non-Executive Independent Director for a second term of five years, also beginning February 1, 2027.

Strategic Investment in Energy Sector​

The Board approved an investment up to ₹30 crores (Rupees Thirty Crores Only) into MCFL Energy Projects Private Limited. This fully owned subsidiary is engaged in generation and supply of solar energy. The funding mechanism includes subscription to equity shares, preference shares and/or debentures, or through an unsecured loan tranche. The investment aims to support the operations and future growth plans of the subsidiary in its solar project under the KUSUM-C Scheme.
