Management Commentary and Operational Updates

Mr. Ankit Patel, Chairman & Managing Director, commented on the Q1 FY27 performance, noting that the company faced a challenging demand environment driven by continuous macroeconomic uncertainties impacting customer offtake in key export markets, which affected capacity utilization and revenue for the quarter. Despite these headwinds, he stated that profitability showed healthy improvement based on better price realization and favorable product mix.

The Crop Nutrition segment was highlighted as a positive contributor to both topline and bottom line, with management expecting this growth momentum to continue across upcoming quarters, especially buoyed by new nano fertilizer products including Nano DAP, Nano NPK, and Nano Zinc.

In addition, operations in Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) remain suspended due to commercial unviability caused by elevated raw material costs and weaker price realizations following the withdrawal of anti-dumping duty (ADD).
