Medi Assist Completes Acquisition of Additional Stake in UK Subsidiary Mayfair We Care Limited​

Medi Assist Healthcare Services Limited has completed the acquisition of an additional stake in its UK subsidiary, Mayfair We Care Limited, effective July 1, 2026. The completion followed an approved investment intended to increase the company's control over the entity.

The company acquired an additional 31.75% of the issued share capital of Mayfair through a share transfer from existing shareholders. This acquisition included 1,270 ordinary shares. The total consideration paid for this stake amounted to Rs. 7,56,79,379.98, which was equivalent to GBP 589,270 as of the remittance date.

The completed transaction significantly boosted Medi Assist's holding in Mayfair. Prior to the acquisition, the company held a 60% stake; following the purchase, its total shareholding in Mayfair increased to 91.75%.

Leadership Transition at Mayfair We Care Limited​

In addition to the increased shareholding, leadership changes were confirmed within Mayfair We Care Limited as of July 1, 2026. Mr. Nikhil Chopra, who currently serves as the Chief Business Officer of Medi Assist and a Director of Mayfair, will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mayfair. Mr. Michail Chopra will transition into the role of Founder & Strategic Advisor.

MEDIASSIST Stock Price Movement​

On Wednesday, shares of Medi Assist Healthcare Services Limited slipped 0.67% to settle at ₹366.1. The stock traded within a tight session, reaching a day high of ₹372.7 and finding the lower bound at ₹362.55.
