Maxvolt Energy Industries Limited has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT), IIT Delhi. This agreement aims to establish a collaborative framework focused on enhancing research and development capabilities within the energy sector.

The MoU outlines mutual collaboration in several key areas, including research, development, consulting, testing, validation, and technical advisory services, specifically within battery technologies and Battery Management Systems (BMS). The partnership is structured as a domestic collaboration.

The scope of the agreement centers on the development, optimization, and validation of battery systems, BMS hardware/software, algorithms, and related technologies. Implementation will be executed through project-specific annexures.

Under the MoU, IIT Delhi, through FITT, will provide technical consulting, R&D, testing, and validation services. Project scope, deliverables, timelines, and payments will be defined separately. A significant condition of the agreement is that Intellectual Property (IP) generated under funded projects will be assigned to Maxvolt, subject to agreed licensing terms.

The primary objectives of the collaboration are to enhance Maxvolt’s R&D capabilities, access academic expertise, accelerate innovation in battery and energy storage technologies, and strengthen the company’s overall product development capabilities.
