Maruti Suzuki India Ltd Announces Price Increase for Vehicle Portfolio Due to Rising Input Costs

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has decided to increase the prices of its models across its entire portfolio in response to sustained increases in input costs and the prevailing adverse cost environment. The price revision will come into effect starting August 2026.

The company stated that the decision follows continuous efforts made over the past few months to mitigate the cost impact through various cost reduction measures. However, due to elevated inflationary burdens and the continuation of the difficult cost environment, Maruti Suzuki is constrained to pass on a portion of these increased costs to the market.

While ensuring that the impact on customers is kept to the minimum possible extent, the company has determined the price increase for its models. The magnitude of the change will vary from model to model, and the total increase will be up to Rs. 30,000.
