Marsons Limited Announces Resignation of Independent Director and Committee Reconstitution
Marsons Limited has announced that Mr. Mohammad Tinku will resign from his position as an Independent Director, effective at the close of business hours on July 16, 2026. The resignation is due to pre-occupation and other personal commitments. As a result of this transition, Mr. Mohammad Tinku will also vacate his positions as a member of the Audit Committee, Nomination and Remuneration Committee, Stakeholders Relationship Committee, Risk Management Committee, and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee.The Board of Directors passed a resolution on July 15, 2026, to reconstitute these committees. Mr. Surojit Ghosh, who serves as a Non-Executive Director, has been appointed as a member of the Audit Committee, Nomination and Remuneration Committee, Stakeholders Relationship Committee, Risk Management Committee, and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee in place of Mr. Mohammad Tinku.
The current committee composition includes Mrs. Varsha Kedia serving as Chairperson and Non-Executive Independent Director. Mr. Rohit Shaw remains as a Member and Non-Executive Independent Director. Mr. Surojit Ghosh serves as a Member and Non-Executive Director on these committees.
In addition to the board updates, Marsons Limited has provided an estimate for repairs regarding a 630 kVA, 33/0.415 kV Station Service Transformer (Year of Manufacture 2008). This equipment was received at the company's factory premises in February 2023. The estimates cover various diagnostic checks and physical repairs to the active parts and body of the transformer.
