KD Green Industries Limited, previously known as Manbro Industries Limited, has announced a name change and completed a strategic acquisition to bolster its manufacturing operations in the eco-friendly building materials sector. The renaming aligns the company with its current business focus and its affiliation with the KD Group.

The company, operating out of Guwahati, is specializing in eco-friendly and sustainable construction solutions for the North-East India market through its core product, Green AAC blocks.

Strategic Growth and Acquisition​

In a move to expand its Green AAC blocks manufacturing business, KD Green Industries Limited completed the strategic acquisition of a significant stake in Green AAC Block and Mortar Private Limited.

The acquiring entity took ownership of 50.04% of the expanded paid-up equity share capital of Green AAC Block and Mortar Private Limited.

Green AAC Block and Mortar is identified as a flagship entity of KD Group. The company’s operations are further anchored by a 75% equity stake held in B.R. Metallicks Private Limited, which manufactures AAC Blocks under the 'Green AAC Block' brand.

The existing annual capacity of Green AAC Block and Mortar is reported to be 1,20,000 CM, which remains optimally utilized.

Products and Sustainability Focus​

The focus on sustainable materials is central to KD Green Industries Limited's mission. AAC (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) blocks are noted for several benefits, including energy efficiency, insulation, soundproofing, and low transportation costs.

The manufacturing process contributes to environmental preservation by helping to safeguard fertile topsoil essential for farming. Furthermore, the use of Green AAC Block Mortar in conjunction with B.R. Metallicks suggests a product synergy, where the use of Green AAC Block Mortar utilizes B.R. Metallicks products, promoting sustainable construction methods that bypass the need for land excavation or red clay.
