Global pharmaceutical major Lupin Limited has been included in TIME and Statista's World's Most Sustainable Companies 2026 list, reflecting the company's progress in environmental stewardship, responsible business practices, strong governance, and positive social impact.

The recognition comes as part of a comprehensive assessment that evaluated companies across more than 20 sustainability indicators, covering aspects like reporting transparency, environmental performance, and sustainability commitments. Lupin was ranked 318th out of 750 selected companies from over 5,000 of the world's largest organizations. The company is noted as one of 16 Indian companies featured in the global ranking this year.

Ramesh Swaminathan, Executive Director and Global CFO at Lupin, stated that the inclusion marks an important recognition, noting that sustainability is central to driving performance while advancing the company’s purpose. He affirmed a commitment to accelerating the climate transition, strengthening governance, scaling renewable energy, and integrating ESG enterprise-wide.

The achievement reflects sustained efforts by Lupin to integrate ESG priorities across its global operations, aiming to create long-term value for communities, patients, and stakeholders. The recognition is supported by the company’s strong ESG performance history, including receiving CDP's highest 'A' leadership rating for both Climate Change and Water Security, alongside an S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment score of 91 in 2025.
