
Lupin Limited Increases Stake in Philippines Subsidiary
Lupin Limited announced that Multicare Pharmaceuticals Philippines, Inc. (MPPI), a subsidiary of Nanomi B.V., has bought back 2,813,811 equity shares from existing shareholders. Nanomi B.V., a wholly owned subsidiary of Lupin Limited, did not participate in the buyback. This transaction has increased Nanomi’s shareholding in MPPI from 51% to 56.28% effective March 30, 2026.MPPI is headquartered in the Philippines and is engaged in the trading, importing, marketing, and distributing of pharmaceutical products and medical devices. As of March 31, 2025, MPPI reported a turnover of PHP 2,096.6 million and a net worth of PHP 1,265.5 million.
The acquisition does not constitute a related party transaction, and no promoter, promoter group, or group companies have an interest in the buyback.
