Lumax Industries Limited, a key player in automotive lighting and illumination, announced its Unaudited Financial Results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company reported substantial growth across revenue and profitability metrics, establishing a strong beginning to Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27).

The consolidated financial highlights show that Lumax Industries’ revenue for Q1FY27 reached Rs 1,223.2 crore, marking a significant rise compared to the Rs 922.5 crore recorded in Q1FY26. The company maintained an EBITDA margin of 9.2%, while Profit after Tax (PAT) stood at Rs 51.1 crore, up from Rs 36.2 crore in the previous year.

Operational and Segment Mix​

Operationally, the company’s product composition was segmented as follows: LED Lighting accounted for 63% of total revenues, while Conventional Lighting stood at 37%. The Product Mix breakdown included Front Lighting at 68%, Rear Lighting at 23%, and Others at 9%. In terms of market penetration, the Segment Mix showed Passenger Vehicles accounting for 64%, two Wheelers at 31%, and Commercial Vehicles at 5%.

During the quarter, Lumax Industries also completed several significant product launches. These included a Head Lamp for Tata Motors Tiago (Passenger Vehicles), a Rear Lamp for Skoda Auto Volkswagen Taigun (Passenger Vehicles), a Front Turning Signal Lamp for Suzuki Motorcycles Burgman Street (2-Wheeler), and a Head Lamp for Force Motors Traveller 2 (Commercial Vehicles).

The company’s order book remains robust, reported at ₹2,500 crore, with LED lighting composing approximately 90% of the orders.

Management Commentary and Industry Standing​

Deepak Jain, Chairman & Managing Director of Lumax Industries Limited, commented on the results, stating that Q1 revenues grew by 33% year-on-year, driven by successful new product launches, increased premiumization, higher LED adoption, greater content per vehicle, and localization efforts.

Mr. Jain noted that despite geopolitical challenges including supply chain disruptions and volatility in input costs, the company achieved earnings growth that surpassed revenue expansion, reflecting the resilience of its business model.

He highlighted deep engagement with leading OEMs such as Maruti Suzuki, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, Mahindra, Tata Motors, and Hero MotoCorp, which contributes to a diversified and resilient revenue base for Lumax Industries.

In addition to financial achievements, the Lumax Group received recognition as A Most Preferred Workplace 2026-27 by Marksmen Daily. Furthermore, five products from plants in Bawal, Dharuhera, Haridwar, Pantnagar, and Sanand secured the GreenPro Ecolabel Certification.
