LT Foods Ltd., a global FMCG company in the consumer food space, has reported its unaudited consolidated financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company posted a robust performance period characterized by disciplined and profitable growth across multiple markets.

Consolidated revenue grew by 26% year-on-year (YoY), reaching Rs. 3,161 crores. EBITDA saw a healthy increase of 20%, totaling Rs. 363 crores. Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at Rs. 183 crores, reflecting a 9.0% rise YoY and a 35.5% jump QoQ.

Key Segment Performance Highlights​

The Basmati and Other Specialty Rice business remained central to the company's success, growing 34% YoY, generating revenue of Rs. 2,845 crores. The Ready-to-Eat (RTE) and Ready-to-Cook (RTC) segment reported revenue of Rs. 53 crores in Q1 FY'27, marking a 13% increase YoY as the company deepens its presence in the convenience food market.

The Indian business maintained a strong upward trajectory, achieving 23% value growth and 12% volume growth. The company's market share stood at 23.1%, up from 22.4% reported a year prior. Furthermore, Kari Kari® expanded its reach during the quarter by onboarding onto IndiGo Airlines.

Global Market Expansion and Strength​

North America continues to serve as an anchor market for LT Foods, recording a 49% growth (normalized growth was 27%, including Golden Star). The flagship brand Royal® maintained over 60% market share in this region, while Golden Star solidified its position as the No. 1 Jasmine Rice brand in the U.S. The company further strengthened its North American distribution network with the groundbreaking of a new 156,000 sq. ft. distribution warehouse in Missouri City, Texas, which is scheduled for completion in January 2027.

In Europe and the UK, LT Foods is currently focused on an investment phase, expanding its portfolio to include three new South Indian rice varieties: Idli Rice, Ponni Rice, and Matta Rice. The Middle East saw expansion into Oman, where Extra Long Grain Basmati and Rozana were launched across major modern trade outlets in June 2026.

The Rest of the World business experienced a significant growth of 50%, with the Pacific region, Indonesia, and Mainland Asia identified as key drivers for this growth. The Organic Business Arm, Nature Bio Foods Ltd., also made progress by strengthening its European operations through advanced machinery and infrastructure investments.
