L&T Technology Services Launches Ainfonix 4.0 AI Platform to Boost Engineering Intelligence in Process Industries
L&T Technology Services (LTTS), a global provider of Engineering Intelligence Solutions and R&D Consulting Services, has launched Ainfonix™ 4.0, a next-generation Enterprise AI platform designed specifically for process industries. Unveiled at EI Live, the launch marks a significant step in LTTS' strategy for Enterprise AI and Engineering Intelligence. The enterprise AI platform addresses the critical challenge where decades of engineering knowledge remains trapped within fragmented drawings, specifications, and technical records across various disparate systems. Without trusted and accessible engineering data, organizations struggle to fully capitalize on AI adoption, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
Ainfonix™ 4.0 is designed by LTTS' Sustainability segment to solve this issue. It transforms engineering artifacts and multi-modal data into structured, asset-linked information that can be governed, searched, and reused across the enterprise. The platform incorporates AI-powered extraction, human-in-the-loop validation, and deep engineering intelligence expertise to ensure data quality, strengthen traceability, and build a trusted foundation for operational visibility and lifecycle performance.
Early deployments of Ainfonix™ 4.0 have demonstrated strong operational improvements, including up to 85% accuracy in technical data extraction, 30 to 50% faster artifact retrieval and review, and 100% audit-ready traceability. These capabilities help enterprises operate with increased speed, reliability, and control.
Amit Chadha, CEO & Managing Director of L&T Technology Services, highlighted the importance of trusted data, stating that while digitization is heavily invested in by enterprises, much of the engineering knowledge remains locked within disconnected systems. He added that Ainfonix™ 4.0 bridges this gap by transforming engineering information into structured, asset-linked intelligence usable across the entire asset lifecycle, from project execution to maintenance and operations.
The successful launch comes as LTTS recently received a rating as a Leader in the ISG Provider Lens 2025 study for Enterprise Asset Management within Oil & Gas Industry Service & Solutions (Americas).
