Karnataka Bank Limited has launched KBL Finsurance, a dedicated digital platform designed to streamline the creation, tracking, and monitoring of insurance business leads across its extensive branch network. The launch marks a significant step in the bank's commitment to digital transformation and enhancing the customer experience within its bancassurance operations.

KBL Finsurance is powered by SprintMoney, a fintech company that provides comprehensive white-labelled digital solutions for financial institutions. This platform empowers branch personnel with real-time capabilities, allowing them to generate and track insurance leads effectively, monitor policy status, and access business management information system (MIS) reports.

The initiative involves a strategic partnership between Karnataka Bank and SprintMoney (Wildflower Business Services Pvt. Ltd.). Through this collaboration, the bank has facilitated seamless integration with various insurance companies through the KBL Finsurance platform.

Commenting on the launch, Sri Raghavendra S Bhat, MD and CEO of Karnataka Bank, stated that the portal is crucial to delivering a superior customer experience. He noted that by leveraging technology, the bank is streamlining its bancassurance operations, enhancing service efficiency across branches, and strengthening customer engagement in line with its vision for comprehensive financial solutions.

Mr Amit Kumar, Founder and CEO of SprintMoney (Wildflower Business Services Pvt. Ltd.), highlighted the significance of partnering with Karnataka Bank. He explained that KBL Finsurance was specifically designed to simplify insurance solutions by integrating automated workflows and partner integrations. Mr Kumar expressed confidence that the platform will serve as a key growth engine for the bank's insurance business.

Furthermore, Sri Raghuram H S, General Manager of Branch Banking & IT at Karnataka Bank, described the platform as a major enabler for the branch network. He emphasized that KBL Finsurance simplifies the entire insurance business lifecycle, from lead generation to policy tracking. This integration is expected to enhance productivity and monitoring, helping branches drive sustainable growth in their bancassurance segment while delivering a seamless customer experience.

The launch event saw attendance from various dignitaries representing Life and General Insurance channel partners, alongside senior management from Karnataka Bank.
