K2 Infragen Ltd. Secures INR 85 Crore Order from Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited​

Gurugram, 23rd March, 2026 – K2 Infragen Ltd., an engineering and core infrastructure company, announced it has secured an INR 85 crore project from Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited. The project involves the development of multiple 220 KV transmission lines and establishing 2x20 MVA 110/11 KV substations in Karnataka.

The order was awarded to K2 Infragen Ltd. in consortium with M/s Om Associates Pvt. Ltd., and the entire project will be executed by the consortium. The order increases the company's unexecuted order book to INR 461 crore, up from INR 376 crore as of February 2026.

“K2 Infragen is on its way to become the leading player in Power Infrastructure,” said Mr. Pankaj Sharma, Managing Director of K2 Infragen. “With the recent railway order of INR 262 crore, this order from KPTCL shall strengthen the company’s presence in the electrification infrastructure domain and will lead to the company’s foothold in South India. We now have a strong revenue and profitable growth visibility for the coming years.”

Ms. Vikas Lakhanpal, Director of K2 Infragen, stated, "We are targeting aggressive but disciplined growth in the coming years. This order from KPTCL that augments our orders in electrification infrastructure domain in both Railways and T&D to almost 87% of total unexecuted order book will add strong synergies to our efforts in building efficiencies in supply chain & operations."

K2 Infragen was founded in 2015 and operates in Roads, Railways, Power Transmission & Distribution, Civil Construction, Water Infrastructure, and Renewable Energy domains. Clients include North Western Railways, Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited, NHAI, and Hindustan Copper Ltd.
