K2 Infragen Ltd. Secures INR 27 Crore Transmission Line Project from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited​

K2 Infragen Ltd., an engineering and core infrastructure company, has announced the securing of a INR 27 Crore project from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited. The contract involves crucial work pertaining to the 'Construction of 220kV & 132kV transmission lines associated with 220kV GSS Seruna (Dist -Bikaner) in Rajasthan.'

The turnkey project scope is comprehensive, covering survey, supply of all equipment and materials, erection including civil works, and final testing and commissioning. K2 Infragen Ltd. has been granted a timeframe of 15 Months to complete the work.

The contract is expected to strengthen K2 Infragen's credentials as a long-term, bankable player within the power transmission infrastructure domain, facilitating the augmentation of power infrastructure across the Bikaner District of Rajasthan.

Order Book and Business Expansion​

The recent order demonstrates the company's aggressive stance toward expanding its project pipeline. Since December 2025, K2 Infragen Limited has added new orders worth INR 382 crores for the development of electrical infrastructure projects. These projects span the Railways, Renewables, and Transmission and Distribution (T&D) domains. Furthermore, the company is awaiting results from biddings for tenders totaling approximately INR 610 crores.

Mr. Vineet Sharma, Vice President Business Strategy & Corporate Affairs at K2 Infragen, commented on the development, stating that the company is expanding its geographical presence in the T&D segment through direct T&D orders in both Rajasthan and Karnataka. He noted that this positions K2 Infragen for strong revenue and profitable growth visibility in the coming years.

In addition to power sectors, K2 Infragen is also active in road projects and has historically been a key player in enhancing water supply infrastructure, improving access to clean drinking water.
