Jupiter Wagons Secures Orders Worth Over Rs 211 Crore from JSW Port Logistics and Orissa Alloy Steel

Jupiter Wagons Limited, a provider of comprehensive mobility solutions across rail, road, and marine transportation, has secured two significant orders valued at over Rs 211 crore from JSW Port Logistics Private Limited and Orissa Alloy Steel Private Limited (OASPL). These orders strengthen the company's position in India's freight logistics sector.

The company signed a Rs 147.11 crore Letter of Intent (LoI) with JSW Port Logistics Private Limited. This order involves the manufacture and supply of 329 BOSM wagons comprising 7 BOSM rakes.

This transaction marks Jupiter Wagons' second order from the JSW Group in approximately six weeks. Following an earlier Rs 122.88 crore order placed by JSW (South) Rail Logistics Private Limited in June 2026, this latest win brings the cumulative order intake from the JSW Group to roughly Rs 270 crore within two months.

In addition, Orissa Alloy Steel Private Limited (OASPL) has issued a Purchase Order valued at Rs 64.16 crore. This order is for the manufacture and supply of 150 wagons under the LSFTO Scheme.

Cumulatively, the two orders amount to about Rs 211.27 crore (including GST), underlining growing demand for advanced freight transportation solutions across various industrial and logistics sectors.

According to Mr Vivek Lohia, Managing Director of Jupiter Wagons Limited, these orders reinforce the trust that private sector players place in the company's manufacturing strength and execution track record. He stated that as India's rail freight ecosystem sees increasing private investment and rolling stock ownership, Jupiter Wagons is positioned for continued growth.

The company noted that demand continues to rise for efficient, specialized, and high-capacity rolling stock.

These new business acquisitions highlight Jupiter Wagons' increasing traction with private sector clientele and solidify the company's role as a preferred manufacturing partner for specialized, high-capacity wagon platforms within the rail freight landscape.

JWL Stock Price Movement

Shares of Jupiter Wagons Limited slipped by 0.92% in post-market trading today, settling at ₹257.4 after shedding ₹2.40 from its previous close. The stock traded during the session within a range defined by an intraday high of ₹262.5 and a low of ₹257.
