Its key functions include formulating and implementing the National Sugar Master Plan, supervising local sugar companies for sugarcane cultivation, and promoting investment.
The agreement outlines that ISGEC will undertake design activities and prepare cost estimates, alongside providing general technical assistance for the development of projects and technical solutions for sugar plants. The transaction is confirmed as being an international venture and is not a related party transaction.
