Intellect Design Arena Recognized as Notable Vendor in Forrester's AI Platforms Landscape, Q1 2026

Intellect Design Arena, a global leader in AI-First, enterprise-grade financial technology, has been recognized as a 'notable vendor' in Forrester's The AI Platforms Landscape for Q1 2026. The recognition is specifically for Purple Fabric, described as the world's first open business impact AI platform.

The announcement indicates that the recognition underscores Purple Fabric's increasing importance among enterprise AI platforms, particularly in reshaping how regulated industries adopt and scale AI solutions while maintaining trust, governance, and measurable business impact.

Forrester Research's AI Platforms Landscape, Q1 2026, surveyed 40 vendors leading the defining enterprise technology category. Intellect's specific industry focus areas noted in the research include financial services, insurance, and retail. The company reported extended use cases of decision intelligence and automation, industry AI application accelerators, and process intelligence and automation as the top three use cases selected by clients.

Platform Architecture and Scale

Purple Fabric is designed for large enterprises aiming to move beyond fragmented AI experimentation toward governed, production-grade deployment. The platform architecture is based on four integrated technology stacks:

ComponentFunction
Enterprise Knowledge GardenProvides decision-ready, traceable knowledge
Enterprise Digital ExpertsOrchestrates domain-specific AI agent ecosystems
LLM Optimisation HubEnables model flexibility, benchmarking, and zero lock-in
Enterprise GovernanceEmbeds compliance, auditability, and explainability across the AI lifecycle

Currently, the platform is in production with over 40 regulated financial institutions located across the US, APAC, India, UK, and Europe. The technology is designed to amplify an enterprise's existing AI, data, and application investments rather than requiring their replacement.

Commenting on the recognition, Deepak Dastrala, Chief Technology Officer, IntellectAI, emphasized the industry shift from initial pilots to quantifiable business impact. Dastrala stated that regulated industries now require AI that operates safely, reliably, and measurably within the enterprise core where decisions are made. For financial institutions and public-sector organizations, he noted, AI must function inside existing systems and controls, ensuring auditability, governance, and trust are built into the process.
