Indus Towers Limited (INDUSTOWER) has expanded its international presence with the incorporation of a new step-down subsidiary in Uganda, strengthening its footprint in the African telecom infrastructure market.
The newly incorporated entity, Indus Infra Uganda Limited, has been set up through Indus Towers Ventures FZE, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. The incorporation was completed on January 20, 2026, marking Indus Towers’ formal entry into the Ugandan telecom infrastructure space.
Business Scope and Capital Structure
Indus Infra Uganda Limited has been incorporated with an initial share capital of UGX 2 billion. The company will focus on establishing, erecting, operating, managing, and maintaining telecom towers and related passive infrastructure, including masts, poles, antennas, and allied facilities, catering to telecom, broadcasting, and wireless communication services.At the time of incorporation, the Ugandan subsidiary has not commenced commercial operations.
