India Motor Parts & Accessories Ltd conducted its 72nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. During the meeting, shareholders reviewed and adopted the company's Audited Financial Statements for the financial year ended March 31, 2026. The AGM also saw the recommendation of a Final Dividend and the approval of a major related party transaction.

The Chairman delivered his speech, highlighting the performance and outlook for the business.   • Re-appointment of Sri Srivats Ram as Director, who retires by rotation.
  • Approval of a Material Related Party Transaction with Brakes India Private Limited amounting to Rs. 500 crores.

The company noted that the Indian automotive industry remains a key pillar of the economy, while the auto component industry contributes approximately 2.3% to GDP. The aftermarket is expected to see sustained growth, driven by increasing preference for genuine spare parts.

Looking ahead, the company stated its focus will remain on expanding its reach through network growth and improving the availability of genuine replacement parts across India. Management noted that liquidity continues to be tight but anticipates improvement in the second half of the financial year. The outlook also acknowledged the potential impact of the El Nino phenomenon, which may delay the onset of south west monsoon and could consequently affect consumption in rural and farm sectors.
