Imagicaaworld Reports Q1 FY27 Update: Footfalls Grow 22% as Strategic Expansion Projects Move Forward

Imagicaaworld Entertainment Limited, India's leading amusement and water park operator, announced its quarterly business update for the Quarter ending June 30, 2026. The results reflect steady operational performance across its parks and hotels while outlining key strategic developments for future growth in family entertainment.

The company recorded a significant rise in footfalls during Q1 FY27, driven by intense summer conditions and prolonged heatwaves.

Key performance metrics for the first quarter are summarized below:

MetricQ1 FY27 PerformancePrevious Year Comparison
Footfalls11.54 lakhs9.46 lakhs (22% growth)
Novotel Imagicaa Occupancy63%65%

Novotel Imagicaa continued to maintain healthy occupancy, attributed to the school vacation season, destination weddings, corporate events, and strong demand from guests visiting Imagicaa parks.

Operational Updates and Strategic Growth

During the quarter, Imagicaa Water Park in Khopoli faced a temporary closure between June 19, 2025, and June 25, 2025. This closure followed directions from the Irrigation Department of the Government of Maharashtra, which restricted water withdrawal from dams due to low reservoir levels associated with prevailing El Niño conditions. The estimated revenue impact resulting from this limited closure was approximately ₹50 lakh.

The company is making steady progress on its strategic expansion initiatives. It is nearing the conclusion of a transaction for Shanku's Water Park. Under this agreement, Imagicaa will partner with the existing owners to expand the park’s offerings while undertaking Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and earning management fees. This move is expected to strengthen the company's presence in the Gujarat region and generate a recurring, fee-based revenue stream.

Further bolstering its portfolio, Imagicaa Next Private Limited (INPL) signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) for its second Hello Park location at Phoenix Mall’s upcoming development in Surat. This indoor entertainment center is proposed to span approximately 9,000 sq. ft., expanding the company's footprint in the family entertainment segment.

In addition to these projects, construction and fit-out activities for the first Hello Park in Hyderabad are proceeding as planned, with commercial operations anticipated to commence within Q3 FY27. These initiatives demonstrate the company's commitment to expanding its portfolio through capital efficient formats and diversifying revenue streams across various locations, including Imagicaa, WetnJoy, Il Sai Teerth, and Aqua Imagicaa.
